I'm sure the box of treats will be great but I keep getting these emails asking to publish a review for a package that hasn't showed up yet due to the delays everywhere.

unimpressive customer relations

I'd like to tell you all about my experience using the item--that is, if I had yet received what I'd ordered from you. Well, at least I did get a prompt reply on March 23rd from Shigeki Abe when I emailed an inquiry asking how the pandemic would affect your shipping operations. That reply? "Our business is running as usual with little to no impact in our fulfill. Japan has been able to contain the coronavirus so currently business is operating as usual. Should there be any expected impact, we will 100% definitely let you know." Placed my order Mar 28 and waited. Got a "your order is on the way" email on April 4 and a drink recipe email on April 24, but no other order updates and no product. Then, April 27: "Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented situation, we are unable to fulfill those promises for the next month (or until the situation gets a little better)." Unprecedented, huh? I'd asked you about the possibility of this very scenario THIRTY-ONE DAYS prior, so good job being so timely with the shipping updates. (sarcasm fully intended) If you'd been more honest up front, or if you hadn't left your customer waiting for a month, then I might have considered repeat buys in the future after things stabilize. However, now you can say 'sayonara' to any future purchases from me.
