Kyoho are large, dark purple Japanese grapes that can grow as large as a plum. They have thick skins so unlike grapes found in other parts of the world, the skins of these grapes need to be peeled. But the effort is worth it since the fruit is perfectly sweet with just a hint of acidity. The Kyoho used for this jelly was grown in Yamanashi prefecture. Make sure to chill it!
